The Roster Welcomes

The roster welcomes us to the bridge across to Progresso and later a starving dog. The poor thing was not what you wish to see as you get to the end of the bridge. I took a picture from the bridge looking down into "No Man's Land" the area between the two countries.
Progresso is a sea of traffic, humans and stuff. Tons and tons of stuff.

The stores are full of everything - most you never knew you even needed or wanted. Like the vendors kept telling us "good junk". For the most part this year I resisted most temptation. Not so true of Larry. I actually bought Christmas presents this year rather than "good Junk".
That's sugar cane the last vendors is working on. The one above is roasted corn and potato chip vendor. And if you enlarge the one with the balloon vendor you will see a guy to the side selling a big pile of green dried something or other. I didn't ask.

Elotes (Roasted Corn)

The elotes smelled fabulous but I resisted the urge. See the guy with his hand on Larry's shoulder? He was one of the personal shoppers Larry had waiting on him (see his shoes sitting next to him also). We are sitting in Los Dos Republicos and the shop guys were bringing Larry stuff to look at and try on.
